Overview
This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide to integrating Zoom with Moodle LMS, enabling seamless scheduling and management of Zoom meetings directly within your course. You'll learn how to set up the Zoom Meeting activity, and customise its settings to suit your course requirements. By the end of this tutorial, you'll be able to use Zoom as an interactive tool for online learning, enhancing collaboration and communication within your Moodle LMS environment.

IMPORTANT: If you're using Zoom for the first time, you need to activate your Zoom account and generate API keys to integrate it with Moodle LMS. To set up Zoom in Moodle, start by creating a Zoom API key. Log in to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace. Create a JWT app to generate the API Key and API Secret, then copy these credentials. Afterward, share the keys with the eSkilled team to ensure proper integration into the LMS.
Steps to follow when adding a Zoom Meeting Activity
Step 1: Navigate to the course where you'd like to include the Zoom meeting activity.
Step 2: Choose the topic where you wish to add the activity.
Step 3: Click on "Add an activity or resource," scroll down to the bottom, and then choose "Zoom Meeting."
Step 4: Add Title (Activity Name)
Step 5: Specify the schedule for when you would like the Zoom meeting to begin.
Step 6: (Optional) You have the option to include breakout rooms.
Step 7: You can customize the auto-generated passcode according to your preference.

Participants who enter the meeting from within the Moodle activity do not need to input the passcode.
