Note:  You need LMS Admin access before you can perform this action.
This tutorial will show you how to exclude some activities from a Course Grade on a certain course.

To update the course Gradebook Setup, follow the steps below:

Step 1: From the course page, click on Grades located on the submenu bar of the course administration, then choose Gradebook Setup from the drop-down menu of the Grader Report.

Step 2: To create Learning Activity Category, click the Add category button of the Gradebook setup page.

Creating a category will split up activities that you want to be graded from those that need to be excluded.

Step 3: Type Learning Activity as the Category name and if the activities under this are not meant to be graded for this course, make sure to set the category to hidden by ticking on the Hidden checkbox, once everything is set, click on the Save changes button.

Step 4: Click on the checkboxes of the non-graded activities like the SCORM files (E-Learning Content) below the Select column then move selected items to the Learning Activity Category.

Step 5Tick the checkboxes of the SCORM files under the Weights column and set each weight to “0”, once done, hit the Save changes button. (make sure that the Learner Assessment Pack is at 100.0 Weight).

Files under the created category are now excluded from the Course Grade.
You can also adjust the weight of the remaining activities that need to be graded in the same manner. however, the total weight should still meet a total of 100.0.
