Online Assessment Form Activity: Adding a Video Record Field
The Video Record Field is an Online Assessment Activity feature that allows students to record videos from their device directly in the assessment. The Time limit and Width for the recording of the video can set set by the assessor.
The video record field is not compatible with the safari browser. When using this field, please make sure you are using other browsers to save your progress and allow video playback.
Follow the steps below on how to add a Video Record Field:
Note: You need a Trainer or Manager access to perform this action
Step 1: Select the Online Assessment Activity you want to add a video recoding field in.
Step 2: Click Edit Assessment then Update Assessment
Step 3: Select the tab and Task where the Video Record field needs to be added. Then on the left panel of the form editor, Click and Drag the Video Record field to where it needs to be placed.
Note: The Video Record field is ideally used in place of an actual observation. This is ideal for tasks wherein the student has to demonstrate a skill and the assessor cannot directly observe the student. A video record field can be used to record the student's demonstration.
Step 4: Edit the features of the field. Click the blue pencil icon and go to the right panel.
You may edit the following as needed:
Label Tab: Where the video name and instructions can be added. If it is not needed, you may turn off the Show Block toggle at the bottom of the panel.
Input Tab: Indicates the number of minutes a video can be recorded.
Marking Guide Tab: Where the benchmark answers of marking guides are placed for the assessor's reference.
Step 5: Once all the fields and necessary changes are made, click Save Form
You have now added a Video Record field to your assessment.
